Guiding healthcare organizations through challenging times requires substantial management and leadership expertise. The Health Management Program (HMP) provides health professionals with expanded skills in developing strategy and managing people systems and processes. In an active and challenging learning environment, participants in the HMP explore the nuances of organizational management in healthcare and broaden their perspectives on administrative leadership.
The program consists of five modules and requires 54 hours of classroom time over 5 months. Class times are Thursday evenings 5:30pm-9:30pm and Fridays 8:30am-4:30pm with final presentations at the end of the program.
"There is no question that health professionals stand to benefit from learning that explores the concept of care from both a patient and systems centered perspective."
