About The Learning Strategies Group

The Learning Strategies Group (LSG) at the Segal Graduate School of Business collaborates with a wide range of clients to develop innovative strategic learning solutions. LSG approaches each client and industry as a unique organizational learning challenge and works closely with key stakeholders at every stage to ensure that learning resonates with individual and organizational requirements.

LSG has developed, designed and delivered learning opportunities for a diverse range of industries and communities from mining to healthcare to high tech to First Nations; it has worked with Corporate Directors, Senior Executives and Managers from government, private and not for profit sectors.

Over its 10‐year history, it has developed and delivered a range of successful learning solutions for many leading national and international organizations including the Beijing Media Group (China), the Certified General Accountants (CGA China), Bocconi University (Italy), and Al-Yamaneh College (Saudi Arabia) and in Canada, the CMA, ICBC, Pivotal, Weyerhaeuser, BC Hydro, BCTC, Eli Lily and many others.

Whether a one‐day workshop, a series of inter-connected modules or an entire MBA program customized for a specific industry sector, LSG learning solutions begin with understanding the context and the issues underlying the more obvious challenges.

Commitment to these principles, combined with experience working inside many sectors, corporations, institutions and communities to design strategic solutions aimed at increasing organizational capacity to address strategic goals, have equipped LSG with the expertise and competencies necessary to co-manage ambitious learning agendas while attending to the fine details that often make the difference between success, failure or engaged commitment. For these reasons, LSG's ideal working relationship promotes the values of partnership, flexibility and integration as critical to building and delivering innovative and strategic learning solutions
