CMA Centre for Strategic Change and Performance Measurement

Welcome to the CMA Centre for Strategic Change and Performance Measurement, located within the Segal Graduate School of Business at Simon Fraser University.

The Centre's vision is to assist organizational leaders and managers in acquiring the skills and tools necessary to plan and execute strategic change that will result in improved organizational performance.

 

Centre Scholars

Masoud Shadram is a 4th year doctoral student in the Management and Organization Studies area at SFU Business, supervised by Tom Lawrence.  Masoud arrived from Tehran in August 2005, after completing a Master of Management degree, in the Graduate School of Management and Economics at Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran. Before that Masoud was awarded a Bachelor of Science in System Analysis, in the Department of Industrial Engineering, at Sharif University of Technology. Masoud is an accomplished scholar, having been ranked 3rd in the national entrance examination for the Sharif University of Technology Master of Management program among 18000 competitors. He also won a Gold Medal in the Iranian National Mathematics Olympiad, as result of taking part in the national student competitions.  While studying at Sharif University, Masoud was engaged in a number of research projects, including the "Development of an Organizational Climate Survey Methodology for Iranian Organizations", "Applying Behavioral Sciences in Service Management: the Iran case", "Developing Trust between an Organization and its Suppliers", "Organization Culture Change along the Organizational Life Cycle", and "Small Business Growth: System Dynamics View". Graham Dover is a 3rd year doctoral student in the Management and Organization Studies area at SFU Business. Graham began his studies with us in September 2006,  supervised by Tom Lawrence. Graham came to us from the United Kingdom where he most recently worked as a management consultant with clients in both the voluntary and private sectors. Before that, Graham completed a MSc in Voluntary Sector Organization, at the London School of Economics, which he received with Distinction and was awarded the Richard Titmus Examination Prize. Prior to his graduate studies, Graham received a First Class Honors BSc in Management and Administrative Studies at Aston University in Birmingham, UK. Read more
